Geographic Information System (GIS) Interactive Maps and Land
Records Portal provide access to property information
stored in county databases. Jefferson County has made a
reasonable effort to present an accurate view of these records.
However, assessment, tax, title, survey and other land records
used to compile these databases have imperfections which
constrain the accuracy of some data. The County does not
maintain City of Watertown assessment, tax and parcel map data
on daily basis. Contact the City of Watertown for their most
current property information. |

assessment taxes and sales. |

Jefferson County GIS (JCGIS) provides interactive parcel,
zoning, soils, wetlands, flood hazard, and orthophoto maps. The
interactive map is not a substitute for an actual field survey
by a registered land surveyor or onsite investigation.

Land Records Portal Subscription Fee: $45 per month
Jefferson County Land Records
Portal (JCLRP) is a subscription service designed for title
searchers and others who require the most timely property
records including ownership, mortgages, sales, assessments,
taxes, and county zoning permits. The Land Information Office,
Register of Deeds, County Treasurer's Office and Zoning
Department update these databases daily. This service provides
a more comprehensive and up to date view of property records
then the Land Records Search. |

Document Imaging Subscription Fee: $30 per month plus $1 per page viewed or printed
The Document Imaging subscription when added to the Land
Records Portal provides internet access to document images.
Documents available on this system include Register of Deeds
recordings, property tax bills; permits issued buy the County
Zoning Department and rural address assignments by the Land
Information Office. |
